Role of the Team’s Coach

The main role of the coach is to help the team prepare for the competition.

The coach assists team members in finding answers to their questions about evaluation theory or practice.

When a team prepares for the competition by practicing with old cases, the coach will be an ideal person to provide feedback on their performance.

On the day of the competition the coach must not sit with the team or offer the team members any advice on the case. However, the coach should be available to record any unusual events that have affected the team’s work such as an illness, power failure or loss of internet connection.
