Role of the team’s coach

The main role of the coach is to help the team prepare for the competition.

The coach assists the team in finding answers to its questions about evaluation theory or practice.

Teams might wish to prepare for the competition by practicing with old cases. The coach provides feedback on the results of the team’s practice sessions.

On the day of the competition the coach must not sit with the team or offer the team members any advice on the case. However, the coach should be available to record any unusual events that have affected the team’s work such as an illness or a power failure.
